At The Richland Group, we love seeing our clients grow in their success and lead in innovation! Here’s an inside look of one client who continues to accomplish much while leading his field of work in modernization:
Cherokee Village’s Director of Community Development, Jonathan Rhodes, is a part of the real estate and property management business. He graduated from Hendrix College at Conway in 1998, worked for U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln for seven years and earned a master’s degree from the University of Virginia in urban and environmental planning in 2003. Since then, he has been featured in Arkansas Business’ 40 under 40 in 2015 and in 2017 pioneered the Spring River Innovation Hub with colleague Graycen Bigger.
The Spring River Innovation Hub is a small business incubator and is one of the first rural innovation facilities and the smallest hub in the country. The location resides in what was an unused portion of Cherokee Village’s town center and is now transformed into a co-working space. Its mission state notes that the hub “provide a creative culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through an inclusive, collaborative network of diverse resources and opportunities.”
In a recent Arkansas Democrat-Gazette column, Rhodes shares he wants to be an “innovator for the 21st century by creating a model that struggling rural communities across the region can emulate” and we definitely see his success toward that goal! Congratulations on all the accomplishments, Jonathan. We greatly enjoy providing your digital marketing and design!
